It is being constructed in one acre land contributed by the villagers. Construction works began since February this year.BiggestJangchubChorten-Ura-

According to the locals many important lamas in the area foretold the construction of the chorten.

Everyday some 20 locals come to work. They are also contributing cash for the construction.

The gewog office contributed Nu 150,000 from the gewog development grant for the foundation works and to fuel the machinery provided by the Central Machinery Unit in Bumthang

The 153-feet tall Jangchub chorten is expected to be complete by next year.
