A 16-year-old boy died yesterday at 11 PM in Trashigang Hospital after he was hit by a Bolero in Rongthoong in Kanglung.
Police said the Bolero, plying on wrong side of the road, had hit the victim in the afternoon. The deceased was with his mother when the incident happened.
The driver travelling from Trashigang towards Kangpar.
Police say the driver, who was also under the influence of alcohol, confessed to the crime.
