Bhutanese boxers competing in Kazakhstan

Boxer-KazahistanA junior boxing team from Bhutan is participating in the Asian Junior Boxing Championship of Asian Boxing Confederation, in Kazakhstan.

One hundred and twelve boxers from 14 countries are participating in the Championship.

Of the four junior Bhutanese boxers taking part in the championship, three have reached the quarter finals.

The fourth boxer, Tshering Wangchuk lost to Kazakhstan in the preliminary round of the 52 kilogram weight category, today.

The Championship began yesterday.
