Bhutan Youth Golf Winter Programme ends

Bhutan Youth Golf Winter Programme endsThe Bhutan Youth Golf Winter Programme ended at the Royal Thimphu Golf course today, with junior golf tournament.

Over 60 students, including six female, took part in the programme. The participants were taught basic skills such as gripping, posture, swing and golf rules, among others.

In the two-day junior golf tournament, 54 youth, including five female competed.

The participants and winners were given school uniforms and medals.

Bhutan Golf Federation officials said the programme is also to look for potential young golfers.

The programme, organised by Bhutan Golf Federation, is an annual event.
