Bhutan will take part in the upcoming South Asian Cadet Judo Federation Championship. This is the first time Bhutan will be competing in an international Judo competition.

The selection of junior judo players or junior judokas for the competition is underway in Thimphu.
The South Asian Cadet Judo Federation Championship is scheduled to be held in December in Sri Lanka.
The championship will be for judokas below 18 years of age.
The Bhutan Judo Federation says the selection will be done based on their performance.
The selected students will undergo rigorous training before they leave for the championship.
