The nation will go to polls tomorrow to elect the National Council members. The polls open at 9 am and will close at 5 pm.
There are 67 candidates vying for seats in the National Council. With seven, Samtse has the highest number of candidates followed by Tsirang with six. With just one candidate each, Trashigang and Dagana have the least number of candidates.
If all registered voters take part in the elections tomorrow, 380,099 people would have voted when the polls close tomorrow evening.
The border gates have been sealed from 6 this evening and will remain so until 6 pm tomorrow.
It is mandatory for the voters to carry VPIC and Citizenship Identity Card.
