Bhutan and Maldives are the first two countries to eliminate measles in the South-East Asia Region before the regional target of 2020.
The World Health Organization (WHO)’s South-East Asia regional director Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh awarded a plaque to the Prime Minister Lotay Tshering at the opening of the 14th Round Table Meeting in Thimphu yesterday.
