Ambassadors present credentials to His Majesty

Ambassadors present credentials to His Majesty

The Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to Bhutan, Harinder Kaur Sidhu, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Bhutan, Panpimon Suwannapongse presented their credentials to His Majesty The King.

Harinder Sidhu, Australia’s High Commissioner to India began her career as a diplomat with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Prior to her current appointment, she served as the head of Multilateral Policy Division of the Foreign Affairs and Trade Department.

She also held several senior roles in the Australian government including senior economic and defence adviser in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

The Australia’s High Commissioner to India holds degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Sydney.

Papimon Suwannapongse, Thailand’s Ambassador to Bhutan started her career in 1980.

Before assuming the post of Ambassador, she served as Consul General of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Vietnam.

She is also a recipient of various Thai state decorations.

The Ambassador holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in International Relations.
