Ambassadors of Switzerland and Korea present credentials to His Majesty

Ambassadors-Switzerland-Korea-CredentialsThe ambassadors of Switzerland and Republic of Korea presented their credentials to His Majesty the King at the Tashichhodzong yesterday.

The ambassador of Switzerland, Linus von Castelmur has a Masters‘degree in Philosophy and a PhD in History. He joined the Swiss Foreign Affairs ministry in 1990. He has held several diplomatic positions in Berne, Geneva, Budapest, Canberra, Copenhagen and Brussels.

Lee Yun-young, the ambassador of Republic of Korea has a masters’ degree in Economics and MPhil in European politics. He joined the ministry of foreign affairs in South Korea in 1987. He has held several posts besides working at the Korean embassy in the US and republic of Cote d’Ivoire.

Later, the two Ambassadors also called on the Prime Minister.
