Supply and distribution of Tobacco products in the country will be permitted, decided the National Council. However, the manufacturing of tobacco products will not be allowed. The Tobacco Control Amendment Bill will be deliberated in the National Assembly in the summer session.
To discuss more on the amendments on the Act from the National Council, we had the Deputy Chair of Legislative Committee and Samtse’s Representative, Sangay Khandu and Paro’s Representative Kaka Tshering.
