A couple quarantined in Gelegphu after returning from Assam, India

A Bhutanese woman and her Indian husband, who arrived in Gelegphu today from Salakati, Assam  were quarantined in Gelegphu.

The couple was checked for COVID-19 symptoms before being placed in a quarantine facility.

The couple is based in Tsirang where they operate a hotel.

Sarpang Dzongkhag has quarantined a total of 209 people since March 16.

There are currently 20 people in quarantine facilities in the Dzongkhag.
