Flash flood damages communal infrastructure in Bartsham

The flash flood triggered by heavy shower and hailstorm last night, had damaged two houses, crops, a school and motorways in Bartsham Gewog in Trashigang.

It has damaged a vehicle. Local authorities and officials of Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan are assessing the extent of damage.

According to the local authorities, this is the first occurrence of flash flood in recent memory.
