DHI’s income increases by 31 percent

dhis-income-increases-by-31-percentDruk Holding and Investments’ total income for 2014-15 increased by 31.24 percent, according its annual report. DHI’s consolidated income for 2015 is Nu 39.1 B.

The increase in revenue was driven by the DHI owned companies under energy and resource and trading segments.

Druk Green Power Corporation’s four hydropower plants; Tala, Chhukha, Kurichhu and Basochhu generated a total revenue of slightly over Nu 14 B, last year.

Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC) contributed the second highest to DHI’s revenue generation with about Nu 9.7 B.

It was followed by Drukair with about Nu 2.9 B.

Bhutan Telecom and Bank of Bhutan contributed about Nu 2.7 B each.

DHI owns 26 companies covering hydropower, telecommunication, aviation, natural resources, banking, insurance, manufacturing, infrastructure and trading.

DHI net worth is Nu 76.5 B.
