His Majesty graces convocation ceremony

HM's Address at the 11th RUB ConvocationHis Majesty The King graced the 11th convocation ceremony in Thimphu, yesterday.

Close to 2,000 graduates, including masters and post graduates received their graduation certificates at the convocation ceremony.

The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay and home minister along with some other parliamentarian also attended the event.

His Majesty the King was ushered to the Royal Institute of Management Hall in a traditional Chipdrel ceremony.

The programme started with traditional Marchang ceremony followed by Zhabten and universities flags to His Majesty the King.

In the address, His Majesty The King spoke to the graduates about various issues concerning Bhutan.

His Majesty said everyone needs to focus on higher standard and importance towards building the intelligent institution in the country.

His Majesty also said the graduates are the guardian of peace and stability and also the custodian of the national identity.

The convocation ceremony concluded with Tashi Moenlam and a photo session with His Majesty The King.
