Thai Princess arrives in Bhutan

Thai Princess arrives in Bhutan Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand arrived in the country, today.

Princess Sirindhorn was received by Her Royal Highness Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck at Paro International Airport earlier this morning.

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn is on a four-day visit to Bhutan.Thai Princess arrives in Bhutan--

Her Royal Highness also visited Kichu Monastery in Paro. Armed with a camera, Her Royal Highness snapped pictures of 7th century temple, one of the oldest in the country.

Princess Sirindhorn is the third child of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the present monarch of Thailand.

Her Royal Highness also made a short trip to view the Taktshang monastery.

Princess Sirindhorn celebrated her 61st Birthday, last month. Princess Sirindhorn is a much loved public figure among the Thais, who call her “Phra Thep”, meaning Princess Angel.
