(Update): The Tsirang police say the 25-year-old murder suspect, who went missing since August 29 from Tongsingnang, could have died by suicide.
The police discovered the remains of the man- suspected of murdering his wife- in a jungle, about three and a half kilometre away from the house where his wife was allegedly murdered.
The villagers, who were present during the investigation, confirmed that the cloths found on the location belonged to the suspect, the police report says.
The police have handed over the remains to Tsirang Toed Tshogpa.
