Team KN Construction won the veterans’ football tournament in the finals played, yesterday. The tournament was organised in Gelegphu.
KN Construction played against Shompangkha Chogyal Namgay.
A few minutes after the game began, Tshering Norbu, of KN construction scored, which became the deciding goal of the tournament. The team won a cash prize of Nu. 70,000 and trophy.
The runners up received Nu. 40,000 and a trophy. Prizes were also awarded to the oldest, best player fair teams. This is the first ever tournament organised for the veterans above 35 years.
Seventeen teams participated in the tournament.
