Prime Minister meets Bangladesh’s Commerce Minister

PM+Bangladesh-Commerce MinisterPrime Minister Tshering Tobgay met with the Minister for Commerce of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Tofail Ahmed, at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang today.

Mr. Ahmed, who is here to attend the SAFTA meeting, said that he was delighted to be in Bhutan and he look forward to holding fruitful discussions during the meeting.

Lyonchhen conveyed that he was always touched and glad to receive such high-level visits from Bangladesh and said that a compelling friendship between the two nations is greatly admired and revered.

Lyonchhen and Mr. Ahmed further talked about strengthening collaboration in agriculture, tourism, mining and other areas of shared interests.
