The BoB Bhutan Premier League is entering a crucial stage of the season, with the latest results keeping the race for positions closely contested. Paro FC remain at the top of the table, while several teams are separated by only a few points in the battle for the upper half.
Paro FC continue to lead the table with 34 points from 13 matches. They have won 11 games, drawn one and lost one, and have scored 45 goals, the highest in the league. They beat RTC FC 1-nil on Thursday.
Thimphu City FC remain second with 28 points from 13 matches, following their 2-2 draw against Drukpa FC yesterday. Transport United FC are third with 25 points.
The middle of the table remains closely contested, with just two points separating fourth-placed Thimphu FC and sixth-placed Drukpa FC.
Thimphu FC have 19 points, followed by RTC FC with 18 and Drukpa FC with 17 points. Tsirang FC and BFF Academy are level on 16 points.
Tsirang FC moved up to 16 points after a 3-1 victory over Tensung FC today. The win puts Tsirang level on points with BFF Academy and keeps them in the race for a higher position in the standings.
Tensung FC remains on eight points, while Ugyen Academy FC are at the bottom with four points.
As the competition progresses, every point will become increasingly valuable, with the remaining matches set to shape the final league positions.
