The race for the top spot in the A-League 2026 basketball championship is heating up as unbeaten sides Jachungs and Thimphu Magics continue their dominant run in the league. The latest standings show intense competition across the table, with ten teams competing for this year’s title.
Jachungs remain firmly at the top of the league after winning all eight matches so far. The team leads the table with 16 points.
Phojas moved into second position with 14 points from nine matches. Thimphu Magics are also unbeaten with seven consecutive victories and currently sit in the third position with 14 points.
Zhoems occupy the fourth place with 13 points from eight matches.
Blue Magics and Pazaps are tied at 11 points each, with both teams completing from seven games.
Garabs are seventh in the table with 10 points, while Wizards follow closely with nine points.
At the lower end of the standings, Dragons have collected eight points from seven matches, while Kamakazis remain winless and sit at the bottom of the table with seven points.
According to the organiser, every win earns two points and every loss earns one point. With several matches still remaining, the teams will be looking to strengthen their positions as the race for the A-League 2026 title intensifies.
