The BoB Women’s National League 2025 is in full swing, with Paro FC Women setting the pace at the top of the table. While they remain unbeaten with a perfect record, several strong contenders, Thimphu City and last year’s champion RTC, are closing in fast. With high-scoring matches and shifting momentum across the table, the title race is wide open as the league enters a crucial phase.
Paro FC Women are setting the standard high this season. Their powerful attack and solid defence have made them the team to beat this season. They defeated Transport United Ladies 3-1 at Changlingmithang on Tuesday.
After five matches, the team remains unbeaten at the top with 15 points. They have scored a staggering 76 goals and conceded just three.
In second place are RTC Women’s FC. They defeated Ugyen Academy 4-0 in their third match yesterday.
They have won all their matches so far, scoring 29 goals and have yet to concede. With nine points, they remain in close contention with the league leaders.
Following closely behind are Samtse Women’s FC. After four matches, they have an identical record of three wins and one loss, having let in 32 goals.
In the mid-table, three teams are tied at six points each, but goal difference separates them.
Last year’s runners-up, Thimphu City Women, have just played two matches and won both.
They have scored 10 goals and conceded two. With more games in hand, both Thimphu-based teams could shake up the top of the table.
The U20 Girls Academy Gelephu have also played three matches, winning two and losing one. They have scored 18 and conceded 10, placing them just behind Thimphu City.
The U17 Gelephu Girls Academy have completed seven matches, the most so far, winning two and losing five matches. Despite scoring 20 goals, they have conceded 41.
In the lower half of the table, Transport United Ladies have played two matches, winning one and losing one. They have scored nine goals and conceded just three.
Another three-pointer, Gelephu City Women’s FC have played five matches, winning one and losing four. They have scored six and conceded 36.
At the bottom of the points table, Ugyen Academy Women’s FC and Phuentsholing Heroes Women’s FC have both yet to earn a point.
Ugyen Academy have played two matches and lost both. Likewise, Phuentsholing Heroes have played five matches and lost all of them.
With many matches still to come, the table could see major changes. Teams such as Thimphu City and RTC, who have played fewer matches, could rise quickly, while those in the mid-table must stay consistent to avoid falling behind.
