The Wangdue Phodrang Police detained a 25-year-old man for alleged burglary cases earlier this month. The suspect was arrested on the 13th of March based on CCTV cameras footage.

The police received four complaints of burglary incidents from Bajo since the beginning of this month. The suspect confessed to having committed the crime.

The man allegedly entered houses after getting hold of door keys kept underneath foot mats and beside the doors by occupants.

The suspect is then said to have searched exclusively for cash according to police. The police have yet to confirm if the man has a bank account. The case is being investigated.
