The Bhutan Tendrel Party plans to introduce a Comprehensive Annual Health Screening for all citizens if they assume power. The Party President, Pema Chewang announced this in a campaign meeting with the constituents of Dophuchen_Tading in Samtse, today. The president also announced the party’s plans to establish people-centric public service delivery centres and to review the current taxation policies, among others.

At the gathering in Dorokha, the BTP’s president highlighted the party’s key pledges in healthcare, public service, and economic reforms.

The president said that the Comprehensive Annual Health Screening will help in early detection and timely treatment of diseases.

He added that the screening will also strengthen the country’s healthcare system.

Likewise, the president also shared the party’s plan to establish Mimaang Zhabto Teywa, an integrated public service delivery centre in the gewogs.

The party through this initiative intends to eliminate redundant rules and regulations that hinder efficient public service delivery.

Similarly, the president said that the current taxation policies, legislations, and systems will be reviewed to simplify and improve taxation systems and procedures.

The BTP also pledged to upgrade and blacktop gewog and chiwog roads and hand it over to the Department of Surface Transport.

Pema Chewang added that the party plans to strengthen and modernise boarding schools and establish new ones as needed.

The BTP also highlighted other general pledges at the meeting.
