Transport United are leading the chasing pack as game week four of the ongoing BOB Bhutan Premier League ended today. Paro FC sits second on goal difference as they defeated RTC FC on their home turf earlier today.
Paro FC opened a three-goal lead at halftime against RTC FC. Despite a resolute performance in the second half scoring two goals, RTC FC could not mount a comeback.
The match ended two-three in favour of Paro FC, who are in touching distance of the league leaders.
The two undefeated teams, Transport United and Paro FC sit first and second, while Thimphu City FC occupies the third spot.
Meanwhile, Ugyen Academy FC, Thimphu Raven FC, and Namlha FC have yet to win so far, this season.
Prospects are looking bleak for Namlha FC who sits bottom having conceded 22 goals in four matches so far.
The league season will see a total of 90 matches with each team playing 18 games.
Tomorrow, Namlha FC will go head-to-head against championship hopefuls, Druk Lhayul FC, at the Changlimithang Stadium.
