The Opposition Party has called upon the government to reconsider its decision to discontinue the post of Gaydrung. The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa said it goes against the resolution passed by the National Assembly in 2019 to retain the post and to base any future extensions on a detailed study. The party said the discontinuation of the post will only hamper the service delivery to the people.
