Onions farmers in Shumar gewog had a good harvest this year. Twenty-six households in Shumar gewog, planted onion this year and each household harvested a minimum of two to three quintals of onions. However, curing their harvest has been a challenge for farmers without sheds. The curing sheds help the farmers in drying and preserving their produce.
