Bhutan started the campaign with a win after defeating host Maldives 2-1 in the opening match of the UEFA ASSIST U15 International tournament on 20th July. Bhutan will now play Latvia on Wednesday.
The Football Association of the Maldives in collaboration with the Union of European Football Associations is hosting the tournament for the first time. Four teams from Asia and Europe are taking part in the competition this time.
