A 19-year-old boy has died in a vehicle accident in Wangsisina in Thimphu. The accident took place last evening.
Two other people were injured. One is being treated at Gidakom hospital and the other at the national referral hospital.
The driver was also admitted to hospital but was later discharged.
The bolero pickup he was driving fell about 70 metres below the road.
Police say the accident was caused by drunk driving.
The case has been forwarded to court as per the Road Safety and Transport Authority’s Rules and Regulations.
