Pelden Group of companies has become the first team to enter the final of this year’s Yangphel Archery Tournament. They defeated Druk Five and Khadel in the semi-final today.
The other semi-finals will be played tomorrow.
Druk Star, Laya Tours and Lama Bakery will play in the lower archery range, while in the upper range, Uma Paro will take on Tangmachu Charo and Hung.
The final is scheduled on September 11.
The winning team will take home 32 inches flat television, home theatre with DVD and refrigerator each. The runners up will be awarded 26 inches flat television and home theatre with DVD each.
Individual prizes like best archer, highest Dobji, highest bulls eye will also be given.
A record number 165 teams took part in the tournament this year.
