A forest fire is raging on unabated for the second today in Jamkhar in Trashi Yangtse.
Forestry officials are battling the fire but rocky terrain and strong winds is hampering firefighting efforts.
The cause of the fire, which started yesterday, has not been ascertained, but the fire is likely to have been caused after falling stones snapped power lines at the labour camp along the highway in Trashi Yangtse.
