Boys arrested for stealing Oxen

Three 16 years boys were arrested by Gelephu police for stealing three oxen yesterday. The cattle were stolen on Sunday afternoon from Barshong village under Sershong Gewog.

The boys were arrested after police were informed by the cattle owners.The cattle were sold to an Indian national. It was later found in the bordering area.The boys confessed to the crime.They said they wanted to repay the money borrowed from a local contractor.

Meanwhile, the cattle were handed over to their owners with support from Indian Police. The boys will be charged sheet to the dungkahg court soon.
