On the invitation from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), the One Gewog One Product Project (OGOP) has participated in the recent Thai OTOP (One Tambon One Product) Fair.

The eight-day fair ran from 17th to 25th December. A group of six farmers and local
producers participated in the fair, along with representatives from the
Ministry of Agriculture & Forests and the Queen’s Project Office.

Bhutanese products like quinoa, kharang, honey, marmalade and cordycep products attracted a lot of attention at the fair.

The Bhutanese delegation also had several rounds of discussions and meetings
with many Thai producers, seeking feedback and recommendations on improving OGOP products.

The fair, which was held at IMPACT Exhibition Centre, saw hundreds of visitors every day. In addition to the Bhutanese OGOP stall, there were more than a hundred OTOP stalls.

The One Gewog One Product Project (OGOP) was inaugurated in November 2015
coinciding with the 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo. It is one of the projects under the Queen’s Project Office of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen.
