Stabbing is becoming common in the capital Thimphu. Over the past three weeks alone, five people were stabbed.

In the latest incident, a 25-year-old man was stabbed on his face at around 8.30pm on January 17 near the Hyundai showroom in Chang Jalu while he was heading home with a friend.

The suspects who are still at large reportedly battered the man before stabbing him on the face. The man allegedly owes money to the suspects.
