A couple in their late fifties was killed on the spot in a vehicle accident, about 19 kilometres from Gedu towards Chhukha, yesterday afternoon.
They were on their way to Paro and were hitching a ride in a van from Gedu till Chunzom.
The driver of the van and his 12-year-old daughter escaped with minor injuries.
Police suspect over speeding as the cause of the accident.
