Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority (BAFRA) seized goods worth over Nu 75,000 from shops across Trongsa in the last six months.
The seized goods, mostly expired grocery items, were disposed in the biological pit on Wednesday.
Besides seizing goods, BAFRA also collected Nu 97,000 as fines from the shopkeepers.
