Dengue fever claimed yet another life, taking the total number of death to six.
In the recent case, a woman who was eight months pregnant died from dengue fever along with the unborn child at Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital. C-Section wasn’t possible since the mother was found to have a low platelet count.
She was referred from Phuentshogling hospital and died on Saturday last week in the Intensive Care Unit.
