His Majesty the King has appointed the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Nima Wangdi, as the new Health Secretary. The Home and Cultural Affairs Secretary, Dasho Penden Wangchuk, is the new Cabinet Secretary. The Cabinet Secretary, Dasho Tashi Phuntshog, has been appointed as the new ambassador to Kuwait.
The appointments were made in accordance with the constitution.
