Two men were killed on the spot and one seriously injured in an accident at Ramtokto in Thimphu. The accident occurred at around 8 pm yesterday.
They were on their way from Thimphu to Namseling when the accident took place.
Their Toyota starlet car collided head on with an oncoming tipper truck.
The injured is in a stable condition but he suffered facial bone fracture and fracture in the right arm. He is being treated at the national referral hospital.
Police suspect over speeding to be the cause of the accident.
