His Holiness the Je Khenpo is presiding over the annual Moenlam Chenmo of Bumthang.
The week long prayer ceremony, which began today, is being held at the Jambay Lhakhang. Thousands of devotees are attending the Moenlam Chenmo.
The Rabdeys of Bumthang and Trongsa and drastshangs in Bumthang take turns to conduct the prayer ceremony. The Moenlam Chenmo in the dzongkhag was first held 23 years ago.
