Thimphu Police have arrested two men suspected of a series of burglary reported in and around the capital city. The arrests were made on Sunday from the town.
The duo is suspected of planning and executing a total of 29 burglaries. Police have recovered several stolen properties from the men.
Police say the suspect broke into homes, shops and restaurants mainly looking for money.
Police say they received complaints pertaining to 27 of the 29 burglaries committed by the two suspects. The case is being investigated further and will be forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
