The Hindu Dharma Samudaya, a religious organisation launched handbook for spiritual practices on Wednesday. It was launched by the Education Minister, Lyonpo Thakur Singh Powdyel.

The sixteen-paged book has prayers written in Sanskrit and Roman. The prayers and mantras are simplified with explanation in English for easy understanding.

Launching the book, the education minister said Bhutan is home to some of the oldest spiritual tradition of the world. The publication of this prayer booklet will support the advancement of the cultural pillar of Gross National Happiness and inspire all readers of this prayer anthology.

The handbook was initiated by Pandit Dr. P.L. Nirola, a member of the religious body.
