Tandin Wangchuk took home the title of the men’s singles championship of the open spring tennis championship today. He took away a cash prize of Nu. 20,000. The runner’s up, Thinley Norbu, received Nu. 12,000. In the women’s single category, Rinzin Lham emerged the winner and walked away with a cash prize of Nu. 7,000. Aum Patrizia was the runner’s up and received Nu. 4,000 as prize.
In the doubles, Tandin Dendup and Sonam Tobgye were the winners. They also received a cash prize of Nu. 7,000 each.
More than 70 participants registered for the match this year. The tournament was organised by Bhutan Tennis Federation.
