A fire partially damaged a three-storied traditional house at Sobsobkha Village under Barp Gewog in Punakha, at 11:30 AM, this morning.
Firefighters, PHPA employees and some residents could contain the fire an hour later.
Sources say the fire broke out from the ground floor where the room heater was kept on.
No one was at home at the time of the incident.
The Punakha Dzongkhag Kidu office gave semso to the occupants and the Dzongkhag Disaster team distributed relief kits to them.
