Coinciding with the World Peace Prayer, His Holiness the Je Khenpo performed special prayers and lit a thousand of butter lamps for His Majesty the Late King of Thailand in Thimphu, today.
Members of the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate General also offered prayers and butter lamps.
Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay and some of the Cabinet ministers and Members of the Parliament also attended the Moelam Chenmo.
His Holiness is currently presiding over a weeklong Moelam Chenmo at Kuensel Phodrang which ends next week.
