Two brothers are under Thimphu police custody for allegedly possessing over 9,000 pieces of controlled substances. The substances were concealed in a rice bag at one of the suspect’s house in Changzamtog.
Police also found four boxer and Labrador puppies at the suspect’s house.
Police said the men were illegally selling dogs.
Thimphu police seized over 10,000 pieces of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances this month alone and apprehended six suspects.
