A Bhutanese ‘Hotspot Hero’A senior Ecologist with the Royal Society for Protection of Nature, Rebecca Pradhan, has been recognised as one of the biodiversity ‘Hotspot Heroes’ by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund. It was in recognition of the valuable contribution she made towards conservation of biodiversity hotspots in Bhutan.

Rebecca Pradhan and 14 other conservationists were chosen from over 2,000 civil society organizations around the world. The honour was conferred on Sunday during the world conservation congress in the United States.
