Junior TT players gearing up for championshipThree table tennis players, who will represent Bhutan in Table Tennis Federation Junior and Cadet Open Championship, are undergoing rigorous training.

The championship will be held in Indore, India, next week.

A Japanese Coach is training Leki Dorji, Sherub Wangchuk and Thinley Penjor.

“We are practicing hard and even the coaches are training us well. Although I can’t assure, I am hopeful of winning a medal. I will try my best,” said Sherub Wangchuk.

On the other hand, Leki Dorji is confident this time as he had competed in the 6th Children of Asia International Sports Games in Russia in July, this year.

“I hope to perform better in the upcoming tournament in India.”

The five-day-championship, which will start on September 7, will have 190 players competing for the title.
