Thimphu police arrested three men for allegedly raping a 31-year-old woman near Centenary Farmer’s Market in Thimphu, Saturday. The woman died Tuesday of suspected heart disease.
An eye-witness said the trio dragged the woman towards an enclosed place beside the Telecom office in the market.
The eye-witness got suspicious and asked her sister to check the place.
The sister immediately called police suspecting a rape case.
However, the suspects had fled the scene when the sister reached the place.
