The second chopper of Royal Bhutan Helicopter Services Limited (RBHSL) arrived in the country yesterday afternoon. The Chief Executive Officer of RBHSL, Chhewang Gyeltshen, said the company is now more comfortable with the second chopper providing back up for all times.
“The services would remain the same by giving priority to evacuation and other emergencies missions.”
The 7-seater chopper is purchased at a cost of US$ 3.65 M and has features like that of the company’s first one. It was manufactured in Singapore by Airbus Helicopters.
