Diesel to be dearer by Nu 1_2 a litreBy midnight today, diesel prices will be dearer by Nu 1.2 a litre. Petrol prices however will remain more or less the same. According to a news release from the Department of Trade, diesel will cost Nu 55.2 a litre.

The hike was attributed to changes in global oil market and rupee-dollar exchange rate.

Bhutan imports all its fuel requirements from India.
